Zephyr Skies 2: Fall into Madness - Roguelike RPG

Postby Enker » Sat Nov 16, 2013 8:10 am

Asked to provide background and title graphics for PsyWombat's latest game as part of a completely randomly generated Halloween themed roguelike set within a haunted house, Cascade Studios quickly got to the task. The whole game from the ground up had to be built within a week and uses an all new engine that significantly improves on the one seen previously in Golden Age: Endless Dungeon and Steel Knights. This is a weird and trippy game by design and does reuse sprites from previous collaborations between CS and PsyWombats as a spriter for the project was never found. So without further ado we give you your belated halloween treat . . . Zephyr Skies 2!

I'm amazed that you could pull off something like this in such a short amount of time! Looks similar to the Endless Dungeon engine.

All new coding and engine but similar game type, yeah. Think of it as an evolution.
